Our Hebrew school includes students ages 7 to 13. The program teaches basic Hebrew reading, prayer, and Jewish ritual and holidays, as well as subjects such as Jewish history, values, and Torah study. The students participate in several Shabbat services each year, and also engage in a variety of tzedakah projects.
Our Hebrew school meets once each week with Morah Elizabeth Siegel. Rabbi Solochek is a regular presence at Hebrew School; community volunteers also support the program. Tuition is $200.00 per child for non-member families. Tuition is included for families who are members.
For information about Bar and Bat Mitzvah preparation, please see Bar and Bat Mitzvahs.
We also offer several gatherings each year for preschool-age children and their parents, where song, a craft and basic Jewish learning are shared.
For adults, we have and are continuing to provide classes and programs in a variety of subjects regarding Jewish culture, philosophy, ritual, and practice (see Adult Education).
